Organisation

Set up a number of cones around the penalty area. Attackers start on these cones with a ball

How to play

One player acts as a defender around the penalty spot.

The coach shouts a number, the corresponding attacker has to dribble into the penalty area before shooting. The defender has to react to whichever number has been called and defend

For the next round the attacker takes the place of the defender.

Progression

If your plays find this too easy or too difficult, you could progress the game in the following ways:

• Change the location of the cones, further away to give the defender more time and closer to make it more difficult
