
About Moorside Rangers
CLUB HISTORY
Founded in 1976, Moorside Rangers have steadily grown to become one of the largest grassroots football clubs within Manchester. We are one of only a small number of clubs to achieve a 3 star accreditation, the highest accolade from the Football Association.
We now operate around 30 teams and cater for players of all ages, from all backgrounds and all ability levels. From the foundation for players 4-6 years old, and then teams from U7 right through to open age including Girls specific teams and disability specific teams.
We have excellent facilities with a large club house, grass and all weather pitches across our Beechfarm and Agecroft sites as well as partnerships with local schools

Bio: Leads the club, ensuring we follow our values and long-term vision. Acts as the main point of contact for decisions.

Dan Flynn
Secretary
Bio: Handles club administration, meetings, and official correspondence. Keeps everything organised so coaches and players can focus on football.

Ged Morley
Treasurer
Bio: Manages the club’s finances, budgets, and accounts. Ensures funds are used responsibly to support our teams and facilities.

Emma Mulroy
Child Welfare Officer
Bio: Safeguards the wellbeing of all young players. Makes sure our club is a safe, supportive place for every child to enjoy football.

Richard Brown
Foundation Group Officer
Bio: Oversees our youngest age groups, supporting their first steps into football. Works with coaches to build confidence and basic skills.

Craig Parry
Youth Development Officer
Bio: Focuses on progression for older players. Helps create pathways into competitive football and develops talent across the club.

Louis Briggs
Girls Co-ordinator
Bio: Promotes and develops opportunities for girls’ football. Supports coaches and players to grow the female game at every level.
