Foundation Coach

Responsibilities:
Design fun, engaging intro sessions for 4-6 year olds
Focus on movement, ball mastery, confidence
Create a brilliant first experience for kids and parents
Support players into U7 teams
Full training, qualifications and support provided. No experience necessary

No. You don’t need prior experience to volunteer.
Most volunteer roles can be learned on the job, and the club will:
explain what’s needed
provide guidance and support
help you find a role that fits your time and skills
What matters more than experience is:

Volunteering isn’t an all-or-nothing commitment. Some people help:
every week
occasionally
at specific events or matchdays

There’s no pressure to overcommit, and no expectation that volunteering takes over your life. Even small, regular contributions make a real difference to how the club runs.

It depends on the role you volunteer for.
Some roles need specific training or guidance, and where that’s required, the club will make sure you’re supported and shown what to do. Other roles are more practical and can be picked up quickly with a bit of explanation.
Training and support are always:
proportionate to the role
focused on keeping people confident and safe
practical, not overcomplicated
You won’t be asked to do something you’re not prepared for.
