Foundation Group:

Occasional open trials are held when required. These are advertised on our social media channels. Outside of this, players may be invited to attend training by arrangement.

It depends on the age group:
Foundation Group:
Yes. This group is designed for beginners. No experience needed.Junior and Girls’ teams:
In many cases, yes. Beginners may be able to join where space and the right support are available. Players may be invited to a couple of sessions so coaches can make sure it’s a safe and positive fit.Open age teams:
No. Open age football is not suitable for beginners due to the physicality and pace of the game.
The key principle across the club is placing players in the right environment. Starting at the appropriate level gives players the best chance to enjoy football,
-
Yes. We operate waiting lists for teams that are full.
When an age group or squad reaches capacity, we don’t overfill it. Instead, interested players are added to a waiting list and contacted if and when a space becomes available.
Being on a waiting list means:
there’s genuine interest, not a brush-off
you’ll be contacted in order when places open up
we can plan sensibly for future teams where demand is clear
Waiting lists are also one of the ways we assess whether it’s viable to:
create additional teams
expand age groups
recruit new coaches
We know waiting isn’t ideal, but it’s better than squeezing players into overcrowded squads. When we offer a place, it’s because we can do it properly.
-
Waiting times vary based on:
the age group
current squad numbers
players moving on or changing teams
whether new teams can be formed
Some spaces open up quickly. Others take longer. There’s no fixed timeline we can promise, and we won’t guess just to sound reassuring.
Being on the waiting list does mean:
you’ll be contacted as soon as a space becomes available
you’re on our radar if new teams are formed
we have your details if circumstances change
If you’re waiting and something changes your end, or you want an update, you’re welcome to get in touch.
