Foundation Development Group

The Moorside Rangers Foundation Group is the perfect place to fall in love with the beautiful game.

Our mixed group is for 4 to 6 year olds on a Saturday morning where little ones can have fun, make new friends and develop new skills.

Sessions are 10am to 11am. There’s no pre-registration required, just turn up and have fun. Each session is £3. Over the winter months this is inside at Moorside High School.

Weetabix Wildcats

Wildcats is non-competitive football for girls 7 to 11 who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.

We’ve paused our sessions over the winter months, and these will be starting back up again in March 2024

Junior Football

Moorside Rangers have over 25 teams from U7 through to U18, both mixed gender and girls specific teams. Our aim is to give the kids the best possible footballing experience and help them develop and become the best versions of themselves on and off the pitch.

Down Syndrome Football

Moorside Rangers is proud to be one of the only Grassroots clubs to offer football for young people with Down Syndrome. The group has been successfully running for many years and offers an alternative to the pan disability sessions offered by Premier League clubs and Ability Counts.

Sessions are every other Sunday and split into 2 groups, although ages are a guide, and we can consider your child in selecting the best session to attend
Over 13’s – 10am to 11am
Under 13’s – 11am to 12pm

Open Age Football

Our first team and U23 Development team compete in the Manchester League, one of the feeder leagues for the North West Counties, and is based at our Agecroft site.
