Our History

Founded in 1976, Moorside Rangers have steadily grown to become one of the largest grassroots football clubs within Manchester. We are one of only a small number of clubs to achieve a 3 star accreditation, the highest accolade from the Football Association.

We now operate around 30 teams and cater for players of all ages, from all backgrounds and all ability levels. From the foundation for players 4-6 years old, and then teams from U7 right through to open age including Girls specific teams and disability specific teams.

We have excellent facilities with a large club house, grass and all weather pitches across our Beechfarm and Agecroft sites as well as partnerships with local schools

Lovely, friendly club. The teams are well organised and compete at all age groups. The clubhouse is great too, serving tea, coffee, bacon butties etc. for the adults and things for the kids too. The recent 'Champions League' competition that was held there was a great success, where similar age groups form completely new teams for the day and compete as Barcelona, Juventus etc. The day was really well attended and supported, hopefully they'll do it again next year
